[Review] Lamborghini Angels- Lupe Fiasco

Last Monday Lupe released his new single off of his "Food & Liquor 2: Great American Rap Album Pt.1" titled Lamborghini Angels. The name in its self intrigued me, thus explaining this very post..

As a fan of Lupe, & seeing the title of the up coming album I know that it will bring controversy that only the rebel in Lupe can bring to the forefront..
Lupe, even placing a disclaimer of the track after releasing it on twitter saying "Warning: if you are easily offended or religiously sensitive DO NOT listen to Lamborghini Angels. Contains very disturbing content." He added, "Listener discretion is thoroughly advised."

From first listen, the song makes you think "WTF is he saying!?" but from being a avid listener, I know better than to simply listen once and expect to understand whats going on in a Lupe track. His music is much deeper than that. So luckily I knew to play it back a few times.

After Listening.. Lamborghini Angels has embedded 3 different scenarios, each telling distinctive stories linked by the hook chanting "Lamborghini Angles" which I have yet to figure out the meaning, all on one track.

One of the things that I can say about listening to Lupe is that with the uncertainty, rebellion, & hidden messages within his music; it always makes for a good interview. To of course someone who is willing to ask the right questions..

... Listen to the Lamborghini Angles track single, that was released on iTunes last week Tuesday August 14th at 12 midnight. Cant forget, Produced by Mr. Inkredible.
As stated,Lupe has always had messages in his music & of course this track is nothing different! check the Lyrics ...

The Album is said to have a release date of September 25th, 2012. With 2 singles out now, with this one and 'Around my Way' in rotation this is hopefully the final and set date for its release.
